Lessons Learned
Ezekiel 11:2-4, 14-21

1. Be careful of whom you take counsel.
2. God does not abandon His people.
3. Daniel was among the most spiritual of the exiles and he was among the first to go.
4. The aim of God’s discipline is always to restore to fellowship.
5. God gave Ezekiel a vision to give him the message he was to give to the exiles.
6. Those who refuse to repent will reap the consequences of rejecting God.
7. God provides warning to those who go astray.
8. “Believers need to present the truth without apology for it is the world’s only hope.” Dr. Bryan Beyer
9. God offers hope in the midst of judgment to those who trust in Him.
10. Hope, as described in the Bible, is embracing with assurance what God has promised.
11. God is more interested in your future than your past.
12. The Old Testament promise to Israel was the land of Canaan. The promise to New Testament believers is the Kingdom of Heaven.
13. “Very truly I tell you, whoever obeys my word will never see death.” John 8:51
14. Application:
· Believers are called to present the truth in the face of false hope.
· Be careful how you interpret the misfortune of others when you have escaped.
· God provides all that we need, however, it is our responsibility to be obedient in order to reap the blessing.
· Listen to the spiritual leaders that God places into your life.
