Lessons Learned
Ezekiel 20:1-14

1. God makes known the standard by which He expects His people to live.
2. God extends grace and mercy to His people when they fail to live up to His standard.
3. God reveals himself to us so that we can respond to Him in faith.
4. God can not allow His covenant people to be just like everyone else, they are called to be holy.
5. God wants His covenant people to reveal to the world what God is like by their relationship and devotion to God.
6. When believers behave like the lost world, God is not honored.
7. Psalm 106 illustrates God’s faithfulness to His people but they continue to be unfaithful.
8. God disciplines His people so that they will know that He is the LORD.
9. Man has rebelled against God ever since Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden. But God continues to extend grace. Don’t be guilty of rejecting God’s grace.
10. Application:
· God confronts unrepentant sinners with the truth.
· God acts with mercy and grace for the sake of His name.
· Continued rebellion against God leads to facing His judgment.
