Lessons Learned
Micah 7:1-10; 18-20

1. Verse one is an object lesson that applies to the spiritual condition of Israel.
2. In a dog-eat-dog world, no one is secure.
3. You will never regret putting your trust in the promises of the Lord.
4. Do not rejoice over your enemy, but rather you should:
· Love your enemy. Matthew 5:44
· Feed him if he is hungry. Romans 12:20
5. Sin has consequences.
6. God delights to forgive those who repent of their sin.
7. “I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.” Luke 15:7 NIV
8. Believers are the inheritance of Jesus. Ephesians 1:18
9. “The heart is more deceitful than all else
And is desperately sick;
Who can understand it?” Jeremiah 17:9 NASB
10. Application:
· Is your heart broken by the sins of our community, state, and country? What would Micah say to us today?
· Believers can be assured that no sin will dwell in heaven.
· Forgiveness of sin is available to all who repent and follow Jesus.
