8. “Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:7-9

9. “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already.” 1 John 4:1-3

10. Application:

·      Know what the Bible has to say about the return of Jesus so that you don’t become discouraged by world events.

·      Rebellion against God is a key to the entrance and popularity of the new world leader, the antichrist.

·      Rejecting Jesus has serious consequences: deception and judgment that permanently separates you from God.

·      Believing the truth results in obtaining the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. (See v 14)
