Lessons Learned
Gospel of John 12:20-33

1. Bearing fruit requires sacrifice.
2. The Jews were always asking Jesus for a sign, more evidence, to prove He was the Messiah. These Gentiles just want some time with Jesus. Do you spend time with Jesus?
3. Jesus sacrificed His life to give life to those who seek forgiveness at the cross. What have you sacrificed for Him?
4. The voice of God is heard by those who follow Him.
5. God turned the worst of man’s behavior, killing the Son of God, into salvation for all who come to the cross for the forgiveness of sin.
6. Application:
· You have but one life to live, how you spend it has eternal consequences.
a) Love life more than God.
b) Love God more than life.
· Serving Jesus means that we follow Him and are involved in supporting His work.
· The cross is the magnet that draws sinners to Him for forgiveness and for life.
