4. Ministry is about being a good steward of those committed to your care.
5. You demonstrate your love for Jesus by being obedient to His call on your life.

8. “God Uses Cracked Pots” a book by Patsy Clairmont
9. “Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it. What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?” Matthew 16:24-26
10. Application:
· Your love for Jesus will direct your service for Him.
· Loving the Lord and following His plan for your life involves sacrifice.
· Jesus calls us to be obedient to His command to, ‘follow Me.’ Don’t compare your path to the path God has called someone else to.
· Believers should examine the depth of their love for Jesus. If we find ourselves loving ‘these’ more than we love Him, we need to return to our first love.
